Transmark Holdings has completed the sale of its subsea business activities in Norway. The buyer is a strong long-term industrial investor with a clear strategy to expand further in the Scandinavian market, and as part of this transaction, Transmark Subsea AS will be integrated into their portfolio of companies.
Transmark Subsea AS will now operate as part of the Malux AB organization, while remaining their strong name. Malux AB specializes in delivering advanced industrial products, a strategic fit with Transmark Subsea's expertise. While the product ranges of the two companies may differ, their shared focus on highly specialized and technical offerings positions Transmark Subsea well for further growth under the Malux umbrella.
The collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the Malux group are expected to drive expansion in the subsea market.
As part of the agreement, the Aberdeen office, known for its specialized subsea electronics and pinless connector solutions, will remain under the ownership of the Transmark group. The Aberdeen office will be rebranded as Krona Subsea Ltd.
Transmark Holdings continues to be a significant player in the geothermal energy sector and remains committed to advancing its pinless connector technology—a critical component in the decarbonization of subsea operations.
